SWWHEP Sustainability Project

This Project has been set up to help the three partner Institutions increase the sustainability of campus life for their staff and students. By approaching sustainability in a collaborative way, the project aims to better manage energy and water consumption, improve recycling and re-use facilities, and deliver a high-profile awareness campaign.

Swansea University is currently working towards achieving certification to the ISO 14001 standard by implementing an Environmental Management System and the project also aims to roll this system out to Swansea Metropolitan University and Trinity College Carmarthen. The project is directed by Elizabeth May, the Environment Manager at Swansea Metropolitan University.

The Project Officers are Mark Blackmore and Anna Rawlings, who also work closely with Mark Durdin, the Energy & Environment Engineer at Swansea University, and Clive Howells, Head of Estates at Trinity College.
