iFind Discover available as a “live beta”

iFind Discover is available as a “live beta”. It can be seen at http://ifind.swwhep.ac.uk, and there is a link to it from the Voyager catalogue.

iFind Discover is the combined catalogue of Swansea University, Swansea Met and Trinity University College, Carmarthen, built on the open-source VuFind next-generation discovery platform.  Once it has been subjected to more widespread use and we have received and acted on feedback, it is intended that iFind Discover should become the primary catalogue at Swansea University.

Questions, problem reports, comments and suggestions are welcome, and should be sent to Luke O’Sullivan and copied to Paul Johnson. Alternatively, if you have logged in using your network username and password, you can use the feedback tab on the left-hand side.

On 16/08/2010, work commenced on the iFind Discover connection to Trinity University College. Once initial tests are complete, Luke O’Sullivan will be liaising with members of Staff at Trinity University College to ensure that all the information they require is included in iFind Discover.
