An important deliverable of the Estates project is a complete and accurate set of drawings.  These are the foundation for any estate management system.  They dynamically link with systems to provide the area information for sites, buildings, floors and rooms.   Accurate area information is vital for producing the many statistics that are used for estate management and planning.

The project will include:

• A review of the AutoCAD drawings held by each institution to check their accuracy
• Correction of the drawings where required
• The production of new drawings where required
• The linking of the drawings to the data in the estate management system
