University gears up for major e-learning conference
Swansea University has been chosen by Blackboard to host a major e-learning conference.
The Blackboard Teaching and Learning Conference, which will take place 12-14 April 2010 is the first of a new style of conference organised by Blackboard, and the first Blackboard conference to be held at a UK University. It also marks Blackboard's inaugural conference in Wales.
The conference will be attended by 350 delegates from the UK, Ireland and Northern Europe who will be able to share best practice in e-learning and discuss new ideas.
Swansea University has been chosen to host the conference due to the unique E-Learning Centre of Excellence established between Swansea University, Swansea Metropolitan University and Trinity University Carmarthen under the South West Wales Higher Education Partnership (SWWHEP).
