The main focus of the international recruitment element of the collaboration is the development of the International Alumni Ambassador Scheme.

International alumni will be invited to become ambassadors for their university in order to share their student experiences and offer advice to international students who are considering studying in South West Wales. Ambassadors will be given the opportunity to participate in a number of different activities. These include assisting university staff at international recruitment fairs and speaking to potential students and their parents, answering queries from students via email and providing career profiles to demonstrate how they have benefited from their overseas experience.

The ambassador scheme will be an excellent way for international students to remain in touch with their university once they have graduated, and to help ensure future international students have as memorable a time as they did.
